Electrical Maintenance Engineer

SRG are delighted to be working with a leading engineering and manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire who are looking to add an electrician/electrical engineer to their maintenance team.The company design and manufacture parts for the aerospace and defence sectors and are undergoing a sustained period of growth.The roleAs an electrical maintenance engineer your primary responsibility will be to ensure the maintenance of production machinery & equipment, carrying out fault finding & repair tasks on a wide variety of electrical machinery.
You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure down-time is kept to an absolute minimum on the company's high volume production facility.The right candidateElectrically certified is desirableDemonstrable experience in fault finding and equipment repairPrior experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience on hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical equipment is desirableThis position is fully site-based in North Lanarkshire, Mon-Fri, working half days on a Friday
