Electrical Maintenance Engineer

JOB TITLE: Maintenance ElectricianLOCATION: St. James Quarter, EdinburghSHIFT PATTERN: Mon-Fri, Shifts: 7-4pm, 8-5pm and 10-7pm.
- 1 Weekend cover in 5 & on call (paid £12 per day + OT if called out)SALARY: Up to £42,000 per annum ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSEElectrician based on site within a team of operatives undertaking planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair of Electrical equipment and building fabric within a retail property environment.BenefitsStaff Employee DiscountsREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Electrical time served apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds 2382 – 17th or 18th Edition of the IET Wiring regulations Evidence of high-quality experience in Building Services.
Sound level of administration and organisational skills Previous experience of working within a team Demonstrate a sound knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace Resides geographically near to job site and available for call out Desirable COSHH Awareness Risk Assessment Guidance Training Appointed Person General Works Permits PAT Testing Knowledge and use of computer software – Microsoft Office, Building Management System, Legionella Awareness IPAF & PASMA Trained Safe Use and Inspection of Harnesses
