Key Responsibilities Fault Finding : Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in advanced manufacturing machinery and systems.
Maintenance & Repairs : Conduct regular preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns promptly, and ensure that machinery operates smoothly and reliably.
Electrical Work : Perform repairs and installations, including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and replacing or upgrading electrical components.
Pneumatics : Work with pneumatic systems, performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting as needed.
Schematic Reading : Read and interpret electrical schematics to identify issues accurately and ensure efficient repair of machinery.
Health & Safety Compliance Requirements Qualifications : NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 17th/18th Edition).
Experience : Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong electrical bias, with good knowledge of pneumatic systems.
Skills : Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with industrial safety standards and compliance requirements.
