Our client a family run firm with a strong history currently has a vacancy for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Role objective: To ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical assets across all sites and carry out any electrical work as required.
Key Duties: To maintain existing equipment, through reactive and planned maintenance.
Fault finding and carrying out repairs during breakdowns.
Assist with modifications of current machinery.
Assist with new installations of machinery.
Installation of power distribution & lighting.
Electrical building of machines including all wiring, control panels Commissioning of production machines – both internal and external, including occasionally overseas Working with, modifying, and installing machine automation (Allen Bradley, Schneider, Keyence etc.)
Developing and improving existing machinery Fault diagnosing and finding solutions to a wide range of electrical problems Specifying and sourcing of electrical components required for builds Working closely with the design and mechanical teams, sharing ideas and concepts Support production/maintenance engineers when required Develop engineering improvements and systems in line with the company's objectives Requirements HND/Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Knowledge of 415V 3 phase power would be essential.
Knowledge of AC & Servo motors would be essential.
IPAF licence advantageous.
Electrical installation experience would be essential.
Automation (PLC, VSD's, HMI's) experience would be a significant advantage.
18th edition is advantageous but not essential.
