Electrical Engineer

One of RHL's long standing Oil and Gas client's is now seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering technical authority.
Working closely with the Technical Engineering Manager you will be the technical authority on down stream related assets on projects across the UK Salary: Up to £70,000 Home based + Excellent Pension and generous Leave.
The role Overseeing engineering contractors carry out works on the assets Full compliance with COMAH Act as the Senior Authorised Electrical Person and have the authority to carry out switching operations on the H.V.
Distribution and Main L.V.
Distribution Systems.
Function as lead authority around electrical appointments and compliance to the OPA Electrical Safety Rules, Identify continuous improvement work on existing infrastructure, where possible introduce new technologies to aid process performance, develop project implementation strategies, prepare capital and revenue expenditure budgets.
Managing maintenance projects including the development of process and procedures.Experience required You must be qualified in an Electrical engineering discipline, ideally Chartered Engineer status, with a strong background in electrical maintenance and good experience or knowledge in electrical projects and design, preferably within a COMAH regulated industry/operation.
