You will join our Electrical Engineering team, collaborating with the closely with the multi field engineering team and is responsible for the Design, Development, and validation of new products and systems under the mentorship of the Engineering Team Leaders, working at our Malton, North Yorkshire location where there is a chance to create a real impact on the team in the UK and Worldwide.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World: In this role, the main responsibility is to develop cabinet wiring systems that meet customer demands and expectations.
This involves working as part of a development team and consulting closely with electrical and mechanical engineers and technicians.
The role requires a proactive approach to support operations and customers on all technical electrical issues, ensuring challenges are addressed promptly.
A key aspect of the job is to develop and implement strategies that ensure both new and existing products align with all relevant electrical standards and regulations.
This includes producing detailed test reports that document compliance and performance.
The role also involves working within the CommScope Product Development Process (PDP) framework to achieve project goals according to target timescales.
Additionally, the role requires continuous efforts to identify and assist in implementing improvements in cost, quality, and efficiency.
This could involve analysing current processes, suggesting enhancements, and working closely with the team to integrate these improvements into the workflow.
The ability to innovate and drive efficiency is essential for maintaining a competitive advantage and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Overall, this role is integral to the development and success of the company's products.
It requires a blend of technical expertise, critical thinking, and collaborative teamwork.

Required Qualifications for Consideration: Fault finding and rectification.
The ability to follow and produce technical drawings, schematics wiring diagrams, and manuals.
Knowledge of electrical safe isolation procedure and safe working practices.
General electrical testing and Familiarity with BS/EN/IEC standards relevant to the field of Electrical Engineering.
Digital literacy and IT skills, with fluency in Microsoft office products including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Forms You Will Excite Us If You Have: Ideally HND certificate in Electrical Engineering, with a desire to continue further.
Experience programming and interrogating electronic devices using various protocols.
Experience with Cabinet/Panel Wiring installation.
Full UK Driver's license.
Experience using SAP systems.
