A growing engineering business is looking for a motivated Electrical Design Manager to join their team and contribute to innovative projects across renewables, oil and gas, and utilities sectors.The RoleIn this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:Designing and reviewing electrical installations (11kV to 132kV)Developing tenders, winning projects, and delivering preliminary designs tailored to client specifications.Running competitive tenders (2-4 vendors), evaluating bids, and appointing contractors.Supporting the construction team with engineering solutions and monitoring commissioning engineers.Reviewing designs with a focus on safety and compliance ("Safety by Design").Assisting with ISO9001 and ISO45001 development and working toward accreditation.What We're Looking ForTo excel in this role, you should have:Strong experience in electrical design within construction and advanced utilities.Knowledge of ISO standards and a commitment to quality and safety.A solid track record in engineering management and technical excellence.Experience in renewables, oil and gas, or utilities projects is a bonus.What's on OfferCompetitive salary with a 3-5% pension contribution and 5-10% bonus.Private healthcare and 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.The chance to work with a lean and dynamic team on impactful, large-scale projects.Join a business that values innovation, quality, and sustainable growth.
