Electrical Design Engineer

The Electrical Design Engineer is engaged to assist the Company in producing and reviewing electrical designs for our Projects.
They will also be required to provide feedback on site specific design documents in relation to specific technical documentation.
Needs to have: Electrical certificates including Electrical Design 2396, 18th Edition 2382, Electrical Installation 2330, EV Charging 2919.
In depth knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry and the legislative requirements such as BS7671 amendment 2: 2018 and CDM Regulations 2015.
Strong knowledge of current technical solutions and vendor products across the target markets.
Experience in on site deployment of cell site equipment.
Excellent computer skills Attention to detail Strong interpersonal and Organisational skills Pride in the quality and presentation of work Needs to do: Responsible for ensuring Electrical technical compliance on telecom projects Producing electrical designs to ensure compliance and provide feedback on specific on site design documentation Access quality control management systems and provide recommendation to enhance design quality Provide feedback and consultancy on common errors and areas for improvement on design documents/Process Provide project updates within company tools based on design reviews In the capacity of an electrical design engineer, attend meetings with the company client to review technical design standards in person or through MSTF teams Availability to carry out electrical site surveys Coaching junior Engineers on projects Assist the Company to ensure all design adhere to all relevant statutory regulations and legislation Liaise with Company Project team over any site-specific health and safety issues or concerns Liaison with the Company and relevant stakeholders as required Needs to be: Commercially focused and able to deliver project KPI's on time, on budget and according to quality metrics Focused on ensuring delivery right first time Able to understand and meet client expectations in line with projects scope Self-starter who can operate effectively in a dynamic and fast paced organization Able to build and maintain good relationships with clients and key project stakeholders Provides effective direction and guidance to project teams Solutions focused and process orientated
