Due to an increase in workload, my client is seeking a Controls Engineer with prior experience in programming and fault-finding PLCs.
You will be working at a world-renowned theatre based in central London.
The ideal candidate will work as part of the stage automation system engineering team to deliver and maintain systems to meet the required specifications and standards.
You will be involved in the future and ongoing developments, consultation, design, evaluation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of new control systems.
This is a rare and fantastic opportunity for a Controls Engineer to work for a world-renowned theatre production company with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 07:00 am - 19:00 pm.
The Role:Working as part of the stage automation system engineering team to deliver and maintain systems to meet the required specifications and standards.Working with motion sensor controls.Dealing with any failures of the stage systems, including production sets that need to be investigated and effective repairs carried out in a safe and timely manner, while working under pressure and to tight deadlines.The Candidate:Theatre production controls background preferred; however, process-controlled background will be transferrable.Instrumentation and process background.Strong knowledge of SCADA packages and the ability to program PLCs.Looking for an immediately available contract role confirmed as Outside IR35.To apply for this role or to be considered for further roles, please click "Apply Now" or contact Michael George at Rise Technical Recruitment.
