Electrical Control Engineer

EC&I Engineer | Liverpool (UK wide travel) | Permanent | up to £50,000 Are you an experienced Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer?

PT Renewables is partnered with one of the largest UK-based sustainable gas companies - you'll be joining an expanding engineering team getting involved in interesting projects.

The Role As an EC&I Technician, you will:
Design, develop, install, and commission control systems and instrumentation.
Install and service advanced systems, including safety, security, process control, and energy delivery.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and related equipment.
Design new control systems and draft technical documentation, such as Functional Design Specifications (FDS).
Participate in HAZOP, LOPA & SIL assessments, and drive process safety initiatives.
Tackle fault-finding challenges on-site, ensuring systems run smoothly and safely.
About You Electrical installation knowledge, Siemens TIA Portal, SCADA/DCS, MODBUS, Profibus/Profinet, and instrument calibration.
Time-served EC&I apprentice, Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance & Instrumentation, 18th Edition, Compex certification, and process safety knowledge.
