Electrical Construction Engineer

Job Description The Job Mission As an Electrical Construction Engineer , you will lead and manage critical electrical construction activities at Hinkley Point C, ensuring consistency, compliance, and the successful delivery of project milestones.
? Provide leadership and support to teams delivering discipline-specific construction work packages (CWPs).
? Define scopes of work and ensure documentation aligns with project requirements.
? Oversee the creation and review of electrical CWPs to meet construction timelines.
? Liaise with subject matter experts and client counterparts to resolve technical queries.
? Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, site license requirements, and HSE standards.
? Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and procedures.
? Support construction progress reporting, permit systems, and workface coordination.
? Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills Degree or equivalent vocational training in Electrical Engineering.
Professional accreditation in project management, construction, or engineering.
Proven experience in regulated sectors, particularly nuclear.
Knowledge of Electrical Safe Systems of Work and major construction projects.
CCNSG Safety Passport and IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualifications.
Desired Skills ? ? Experience in delivering engineering scopes within Joint Ventures.
? Familiarity with nuclear safety and compliance requirements.
? Strong track record in leadership roles within construction projects.
? Knowledge of permit systems and construction surveying techniques.
