We are looking for enthusiastic, inspiring and versatile EHCP Teaching Assistants, who will work 1:1 or with small groups to support the development and progress of children with additional needs funding (e.g EHCP).
This role is key in enabling a child/young person to experience emotional wellbeing and effective learning.
From March 2025 we require EHCP Teaching Assistants who are committed to working between 21-34 hours per week, term-time plus one week of staff inset days (35 weeks).
The normal place of work will be Leicester Grammar School however, travel to and work at the other schools within the Trust may be required.
These are LGS Stoneygate and Leicester Grammar Junior School, which are located within one mile of Leicester Grammar School.
Remuneration will be at £14.40 per hour.
As this role is dependent upon external funding, it is offered on a fixed term basis until July 2026, in the first instance, although this cannot be guaranteed.
The fixed period contract is subject to: The current period of the additional funding, and The pupil/s with additional funding that you support remain within the school/Trust.
