Our large department (in excess of 100 staff covering a population of approx 540,000) provides a wide range of services for Grampian Region and beyond, and includes a comprehensive range of bacteriology and virology diagnostic techniques.
Applications are invited for the above post which is part-time (Monday to Friday evenings - 5pm to 8pm) and permanent.
Duties include sample reception and general laboratory work in the Microbiology laboratory providing essential laboratory support to the Biomedical Scientific staff.
The successful applicant should have a scientific qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience.
They will be motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
They will have good organisational and practical abilities, and enjoy team work.For
