GSL Education are seeking dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Workers to join schools in Bournemouth .

By providing tailored support, you will help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As an Educational Support Worker , you will work closely with students who may face barriers to learning.
This could include providing one-to-one assistance, working with small groups, and supporting classroom activities under the guidance of teachers.
Your role is crucial in ensuring every student receives the help they need to succeed and grow in confidence.
Educational Support Worker Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with varying needs.
Assist in the delivery of tailored educational activities, helping students stay engaged and focused.
Support teachers in creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor and report on students' progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
Help students develop social and emotional skills to promote positive behaviour.
Collaborate with school staff to implement individual learning plans.
Supervise students during non-classroom activities such as breaks, lunchtimes, and school trips.
Promote a safe, respectful, and positive learning atmosphere for all students.
Requirements that we're looking for: Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting or as an Educational Support Worker is preferred.
Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or equivalent are advantageous.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
