Commitment : Minimum of 2 assessments per month Requirements Qualifications : Doctorate, PhD, or Master's in Educational Psychology (or equivalent).
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of practice as an Educational Psychologist.
Role Overview As an Educational Psychologist, you will contribute to enhancing the educational experiences and support provided to children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN), in maintained schools and academies.
Your role will involve delivering psychological expertise, advice, and assessments.
Key Responsibilities Psychological Advice : Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and advice, including statutory recommendations for children and young people aged 0-25.
Community Support : Offer psychological guidance to communities, schools, parents, children, and young people.
Multi-Agency Collaboration : Actively contribute to multi-agency support teams for children and young people.
Day-to-Day Activities Consultation : Serve as a consultant on psychological matters for parents, carers, teachers, and other child development professionals.
School Support : Work with the Education and Inclusion team to support school effectiveness.
Record Keeping : Maintain detailed and accurate records.
SEN Compliance : Provide statutory advice in alignment with the SEN code of practice.
Tribunal Participation : Attend SEN and disability tribunals as needed.
