Job Title: Education Support Specialist About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team at Oakfield House School.
As an integral member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students alike, contributing to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities Assist teachers in planning and preparing lessons, developing resources and activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
Contribute to recording and reporting across the school, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Offer general clerical and administrative support, utilizing specialist skills and experience to enhance the learning process.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you will possess: A strong understanding of autism and associated complex needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Proven experience working in a primary setting, preferably with individuals with autism or complex needs.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
