Early Years/Year 1 SEMH Teaching Assistant Full-time ideally Special school Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) 8:30am - 3:30pm Term 2 start We're working on behalf of a unique special school that look after a range of special needs but are primarily focused around complex behavioural needs .
They are a lovely school but also a challenging one!
They need staff there who are confident in dealing with challenging behaviour and have experience working with SEMH. The school are a really lovely team who boast a high retention rate of staff.
Having placed a number of staff at the school, feedback I will consistently receive will be how rewarding the work is - you have an opportunity to make a huge difference in these children's lives.
The role They have 2 gaps at the school currently so will be looking for a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant in an EY class and a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant in a Year 1 class.
It is essential that you are proactive - there is always something to do and they need people who are prepared to get 'stuck in'! Due to the variety of different special needs & disabilities, ideally you would have worked in a special school environment before but they are open to a range of different applications.
