EYFS Teacher Required - Newcastle-under-Lyme January start 2 terms Reception class Full time Our partnered primary school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time, supply basis through Academics.
The position begins in January and will cover the remainder of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, engaging young learners and fostering their growth through a key developmental stage.
Key Responsibilities: Full class teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management.
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Support the social, emotional, and academic development of each child.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
Work closely with a skilled Teaching Assistant, who will provide additional support in managing classroom activities and individual student needs.
About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience teaching in an EYFS or Reception setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and ability to tailor teaching to a variety of learning styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and nurturing teaching approach.
Adaptable and committed to contributing positively to the school community and supporting pupil development.
