Early Years Practitioner Level 3 Working at YMCA Bournemouth is an opportunity to be a part of a global organisation working at a local community level in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
We are inclusive, diverse and forward-thinking.
We work across areas including Housing and Support, Family and Relationships, Youth Work, Training and Education, and Health and Wellbeing to enable people in our local community to develop their full potential in Mind, Body and Spirit.
People choose to work for us because they want to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults, children, young people and families and they want to work in an environment that will support them to do so.
Teddys Preschool in Pokesdown is an in-the-moment setting, and therefore has no forward planned activities, but instead our Early Years practitioners share in the joy of each learning moment that arises with the children.
You have the freedom to be as creative as you can to ensure that our children get the best possible learning experience, whilst you have fun too.
We also use an online observation system, so no more piles of paperwork!
Fed up of being stuck inside as an Early Years practitioner?
We have a great outside space and free-flow access to it in all weathers this is a major part of this role, and so a strong passion for outdoor learning would be highly desirable.
We also support children with additional needs and English as an additional language, and so experience in these areas is a must.

The available role is for 35 hours per week.
Hours and days of work will be dependent on needs of the setting.
