Early Years Practitioner Our client an independent, co-educational preparatory school and nursery that provides exceptional education for children aged from 3 months to 11 years, are seeking an Early Years practitioner to join their amazing team.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of up to £26,000 based on-site in Tonbridge.
They prioritise a nurturing, friendly, and family-oriented environment, and have developed a Values-based Education framework to guide and promote their school's culture.
What will you be doing?
As and Early Years Practitioner you will be responsible for supporting and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
You will help create a warm, inclusive, and safe learning environment, and engage in purposeful and structured play to support children's development across all areas of the curriculum.
You will also communicate effectively with parents and caregivers and maintain accurate records of children's learning and development.
What skills will you have?
You will hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent, (level 2 qualification would be considered but must be willing to complete you level 3 qualification) Have experience working as an Early Years Practitioner or similar role.
Have thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early years education.
Have excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Possess strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
Be enthusiastic and have a creative approach to supporting children's learning and development.
Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Have first Aid and Safeguarding training/certification (or willingness to undertake training).
