Early Years Lead Practitioner

Job DescriptionLead the delivery of Early Learning and Childcare, which meets the needs of the individual child, using local and national policies, guidelines and procedures, through collaborative and collegiate working.There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.This is a Children's Service Network (CSN) post.
Initially you will be based at Kintore School, but you may be required to work elsewhere within the Kemnay CSN.The successful candidate will be employed on a 52.18 weeks per year contract.This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 3 months of employment.Working pattern: Shifts between 7.45am and 6.15pm may be a requirement dependent on service needs.This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act .
The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
You will be required to provide this check.
A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.This post has a minimum requirement of two references, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.Fixed term, for a period not exceeding 6 February .
