Early Years Assessor Shape the future of Early Years professionals Location: Bishop's Stortfod (Hertfordshire, West Essesx) Salary: £29,400 - £33,600 Full-time Permanent We are looking for a passionate and experienced Early Years Assessor to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the development of apprentices in the early years sector.
About the Role As an Early Years Assessor, you'll guide apprentices across several key programs: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2) Playworker (Level 2) Early Years Educator (Level 2) Teaching Assistant (Level 3) Early Years Lead Practitioner You'll manage a caseload of learners, starting with 35 and growing to 45 after probation.
In this role, you'll provide both remote and on-site (Hertfordshire and West Essex) support, empowering learners to successfully complete their qualifications.
Key responsibilities include: Conducting skills reviews with apprentices and employers, identifying any training gaps.
Developing personalized training plans to address individual needs.
Delivering engaging, high-quality training, including functional skills, aligned with awarding body standards.
Performing workplace observations and maintaining accurate learner records.
What We're Looking For To thrive in this role, you'll need: An Assessor's qualification.
A qualification in Early Years.
At least one year's experience in a similar position.
Access to a car for travel.
Transitioning Nursery Managers or Early Years Teachers: If you're an experienced Nursery Manager or Early Years Teacher (Level 5 qualification required), we offer the chance to earn your Assessor's qualification while on the job.
