Early Intervention Job Coach (Po1)

Who You Are You have experience working with unemployed individuals to enhance their employment prospects and are skilled in providing advice and guidance to help them progress towards employment.
You are knowledgeable about homelessness legislation, particularly the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
You possess excellent case management abilities, effectively planning, prioritizing, and communicating with customers.
Highly adaptable and able to work independently or as part of a team, you thrive under changing and competing demands.
You are approachable, non-judgmental, possess good computer skills, and can navigate IT databases to manage information efficiently.
What the Job Involves Your role involves supporting unemployed participants by building relationships, addressing employment barriers, and motivating them towards achieving sustainable employment.
You will be responsible for a caseload, engaging participants through individual or group support, and facilitating their growth in confidence and skills.
You will provide employability training in areas such as CV writing, interview techniques, and job search.
This role also involves maintaining accurate records, meeting program targets, and working collaboratively with various internal and external partners to prevent homelessness.
You will ensure compliance with council policies, health and safety guidelines, and contribute to safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
