Eal Teaching Assistants (Full Time)

Start Date: ASAP Location: Vale of Glamorgan Equal Education Partners are recruiting on behalf of a local secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan for a Supply EAL Teaching Assistant.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and reliable individual to support English as an Additional Language (EAL) students.
As a supply teaching assistant, you will provide support to EAL students, helping them to develop their English language skills and integrate into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities: Support EAL students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
Assist with language acquisition and help students improve their spoken and written English.
Work alongside class teachers to adapt lessons and activities for EAL students.
Encourage students to participate in classroom activities and help build their confidence.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers on student development.
Requirements Experience working with EAL students or in a similar teaching assistant role is preferred.
A good understanding of language acquisition techniques and how to support EAL learners.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient approach to students.
A DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) or willingness to apply for one.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
