THE ROLEAs a Fleet Mechanic, you'll be a key player in our fast-paced operation, ensuring our fleet of e-mopeds and e-bikes remains in top condition.
You'll work directly with our customers (delivery couriers) to quickly diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Your ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure is essential to maintain our fleet's reliability and performance.Key Responsibilities:Vehicle Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in e-mopeds, e-bikes and cargo bikes.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as brake adjustments, tyre replacements, and chain lubrication.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty components, including batteries, motors, and controllers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest electric vehicle technology and repair techniques.
Customer Service: Interact with customers at the repair desk to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
Schedule and manage repair appointments efficiently.
Provide clear and concise explanations of repair work and costs.
Offer advice on vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Quality Control: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are carried out to the highest standards.
Conduct quality checks on completed work.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
Requirements Proven experience in motorcycle or bicycle mechanics, preferably with experience in electric vehicles.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Knowledge of basic electronics and electrical systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license, moped license and CBT.
