****Oakfield House School - North West****Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)****Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30pm****Contract: Permanent, 52weeks****Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required****About the role**We are looking for a Lead Clinician - Highly Specialist OTSALT to manage ourin-house Clinical Team at our Oakfield House School based in the North West.The postholderwill be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of theonsite clinical team.
Working collaboratively with the site, you will deliverbespoke assessment and intervention plans for our students who may presentwith complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types ofneurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health(SEMH) needs.
You will be responsible for holding the therapy caseload with the full supportof our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growingClinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation.Working within overall framework of the service policies and procedures, youwill be supporting the integration of the specific service in the day to dayrunning of each provision i.E., A key aspect of the role will be to deliver the wellbeing andclinical rainbow strategy at a universal, enhanced and specialist level tosupport our wider teams in meeting our pupils' needs in line with setEducation, Health Plan (EHCP).We are a vital part of local communities in England, Scotland andWales with a renowned reputation for quality and positive outcomes for thepeople we educate for.Our divisional brands include Acorn Education and Options Autism.Essential Criteria:** * Recognised degree in either, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy or registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience working with Neurodivergent children * Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities * Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team * Ability to work independently * Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred * Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicleFor further information on this role please refer the Job Description andPerson Specification attached.
