Job Description What will you be doing?  ALTEN is looking for an experienced Automotive DVP Engineer to help drive innovation and reliability in advanced engine systems .
As part of our team in Gaydon, Warwickshire , you'll have the opportunity to collaborate on complex design verification plans (DVP) , ensuring performance and durability across challenging environments.
Your main responsibilities will be:  Lead mechanical development activities for high-performance engine systems , focusing on durability, performance, and functionality.
Execute system validation processes and oversee DVP testing to meet client requirements.
Collaborate closely with the Engine Validation and Attributes Manager and follow guidance from Module Leads or Technical Leads .
Analyze test results, document findings, and recommend modifications to meet project objectives.
Utilize MATLAB and other engineering tools to conduct simulations and data analysis.
Ensure compliance with project timelines and maintain close communication with stakeholders.
You are...  Passionate about engineering  result-oriented  proactive Qualifications Experience, skills and qualifications required:  Proven experience with engine components and systems in the automotive industry .
Strong knowledge of system validation and DVP processes for mechanical systems.
Proficiency in MATLAB and other simulation or analysis tools.
Ability to work on-site in Gaydon, Warwickshire three days a week.
