Position Summary The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and engaging Design & Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will have the opportunity to foster a passion for design innovation and practical skills in students equipping them with essential knowledge and capabilities for the future.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational aims.
Create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Assess student progress provide constructive feedback and implement differentiated learning strategies to cater to diverse needs and abilities.
Maintain a wellorganized and safe learning environment ensuring proper use of tools and equipment.
Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to enhance the Design & Technology curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree or higher in Design & Technology Engineering or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Design & Technology and its realworld applications with a strong commitment to student success.
Possesses excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently demonstrating initiative and a creative approach to teaching.
