Connect Appointments are recruiting individuals to become a Driver's Mate with our Newark based clients transport team on a temporary basis.
What's on offer?
Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 18:00 11.50 per hour - paid weekly Immediate starts available Working as a Driver's Mate, you will be responsible for: Map reading and/or satellite navigation, providing clear instructions for the driver to locate customer's properties using the best route Providing exceptional customer service Heavy lifting and possible assembly of items Assisting with vehicle checks and cleanliness of vehicle Regularly review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety whilst using equipment provided (i.e., straps and sack barrows) To carry out the delivery and collection of tote boxes and products from retail stores Other general labouring/assisting tasks To be successful in this role you will be able to work as part of a team, have good communication skills, and; ideally have previous experience in the same or similar manual handling role.
