We're looking for full-time, Drivers Mates to join us at our site in Chepstow.
This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.
Pay, benefits and more: \n \n 28 days paid holiday (Pro Rata) \n Access to Manpower Rewards (Discounts on adventure days) \n Access to the My Path upskilling programme \n Possible permanent opportunities for the right candidate \n \n What you'll do on a typical day: \n \n Assist with white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver's mate.
\n Execute two types of deliveries: home deliveries and kerbside deliveries.
\n For home deliveries, transport items to the customer's room of choice, including carrying items to homes that may be several stories high.
\n For kerbside deliveries, hand off items directly to individuals on building sites.
\n Deliver items such as white goods (e.g., dishwashers, washing machines, fridges), kitchen units, and worktops.
\n Handle multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily.
\n Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.
\n Physical fitness is essential for this role due to the nature of the work.
\n Strong communication skills and a positive demeanour are required for direct interaction with customers.
\n \n What you need to succeed with our client: \n \n Cat B licence preferred.
\n No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
\n Multidrop delivery experience.
\n Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
\n A can-do attitude.
