Role OverviewTo work alongside the Logistics Transport operation, working in tandem with the Transport Supervisor, Drivers, and Mawdsleys colleagues to ensure the safe, legal and efficient distribution of all product, maintaining an ever-present focus on both operator licence adherence and MHRA compliance.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that operations are carried out in adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles;Deliver the safe movement of pharmaceuticals throughout the supply chain from goods receipt to final-mile delivery;Promote patient safety in-line with the guidance and advice provided by the Quality team, and controlled by the business quality management system;Represent ML in an ambassadorial manner at all times to both internal stakeholders and external customers;Deliver pharmaceutical products for all ML customers, on-time, in full, wherever practicable;Adhere to the business SOP package to ensure driver and vehicle activities are compliant with DVSA regulations;Ensure MHRA regulations are followed by supporting and completing temperature monitoring and management requirements;Support the ML Transport Management team with all Transport enquiries;Communicate effectively, efficiently, and coherently with other drivers, customers and internal Management;To support the Transport Operational team during periods of high work volume and during absence;Be an integral part of the Mawdsleys Logistics team across the wider business – building relationships and a teamwork ethos;Be involved, if relevant, in projects that are required to support the business strategy.
