Position Summary As a Drama Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering students' passion for the performing arts.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive drama instruction across Key Stages 3 and 4, empowering students to develop their confidence, communication skills, and artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities Design and deliver inspiring drama lessons that align with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their creativity and take risks.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
Direct and produce school productions, showcasing students' talents and fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Collaborate with colleagues within the Arts department and across the wider school community to enhance the performing arts program.
Qualifications and Experience A Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
