We're looking for an experienced Drainage Design Team Leader to join our Transportation team at our Design Office based in Salford, Manchester.
In this role, you'll specialise in highways drainage, with additional expertise in water utilities and Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) matters.
This position within Kier Design Services offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects.

Location: Salford, Manchester - with occasional remote working available Contract: Permanent Fulltime Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 + car allowance + private healthcare + benefits Responsibilities As a Drainage Design Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading, developing, and empowering a team of skilled professionals to successfully deliver a portfolio of projects.
These projects must meet established standards, adhere to timelines, and stay within budgetary constraints across various design contracts.
Your day to day will include: Developing fee estimates and programmes from client briefing statements.
Lead the team through technically challenging projects and/or solutions.
Ensure latest design standards and lessons learnt are applied to projects and risk management in undertaken in relation to project delivery.
Building strong relationships with all clients (internal and external) and stakeholders to continue building on the current reputation.
