Salary scale: Grade D Point 5 FTE £24,790 p.a, £12.85 per hour, 43.9 paid weeks per year based on less than 5 years service
Actual salary: £12,691
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30am to 1pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, dedicated and effective Teaching Assistant to support children in our Year 2 base.
The successful applicant will work alongside the class teacher to provide daily support to learning needs throughout the day.
This is a part time, permanent position.
The closing date for this position will be Monday 3 February 2025, with interviews being held on Friday 7 February 2025.
Start Date: 24 February 2025
The successful candidate will be a skilled individual who would be able to be flexible and creative in their approach to working with children.
The successful candidate will need to:
be a willing learner experienced in working with primary aged children demonstrate the ability to understand children's learning and behavioural needs and adapt accordingly hold a relevant qualification, or be willing to undertake relevant training demonstrate, through practice, their knowledge and understanding of complex communication needs and appropriate planning, monitoring and assessment to support those needs
We are keen to develop our Forest School opportunities within the school so forest school qualification would be desirable but not essential.
