Duties include personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; assisting with mobility; meal preparation; administering medications; and offering companionship.
They also support clients with daily tasks like housekeeping, shopping, and managing appointments, while observing and reporting any changes in the clients condition to ensure their well-being.

Our Domiciliary Care Workersdeliver care in the homeand other venues, provide a reliable, personal service which always meets theindividuals personal need and respect confidentiality.Duties and tasks will include the provision ofpersonal, social, and enabling care and support to service users within theirown home and in the community.To assist the Team Leader in the resource planning,coaching, and mentoring of a team of staff and co-ordinating the dailyprovision of care and support for customers to ensure the delivery of ahigh quality, responsive and efficient service.To provide care and support to people withdisabilities to enable them to maintain their tenancies and to achieve theiraspirations for independent living.The duties will be determined by the individual needsof the customers being supported.
The context in which care and support is provided mayvary according to the users living environment.Depending upon location, the care and support provided may be topeople with Dementia, people with learning disabilities, neurodiversity, people with mental health related support needs or acombination of these.KEY TASKSCARE & SUPPORT SERVICESTo provide the highest qualitycare to service users in their own homes in accordance with their care and support plan,in person-centred approach.Identify service usersindividual support needs and through consultation and agreement with theservice user (and, where appropriate, their social worker), devise and implementsuitable care and support plans to ensure that identified care and support needs are met.Encourage and support serviceusers to live as fully and independently as possible within the localcommunity, providing information, emotional, organisational, and practicalsupport and training as appropriate.Social duties include preparingand cooking meals, essential cleaning, shopping, bill payment and firemaintenance.Personal care includeswashing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication monitoring and/orassistance.Deliver care and support in a mannerwhich is sensitive to the service users culture, disability, race, age,sexuality, marital or civil partnership status, transgender status, orreligion/belief.Enabling and support mayinclude such activities as supervising, monitoring, and coaching to empowerservice users to be as independent as possible and have control over their ownlives.

Contribute to the protectionof service users from abuse and support service users when they aredistressed.Liaise with housing,health and social care professionals, benefits, welfare and advocacy agencies,and other landlords as well as family members, as appropriate.STAFF& TEAM WORKINGWork within a team,supporting colleagues and attending team meetings, recording, and sharing information appropriately and confidentially.To assist the Team Leader/ Care Coordinators toachieve service objectives and assist in the development and implementation ofpolicies, practices, and procedures.
