You will be required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.To find out more about NHS Ayrshire and Arran please visit our website - PositionAn opportunity has arisen for permanent Domestic Assistants based at University Hospital Ayr.Hours:Monday – Friday - 17.00 - 19.30 over 4 days and 1 day 17.00 - 19.24 (12.4 Hours per Week)What you will do:You will provide a wide and varied range of Domestic Services which support Clinical Services throughout Ayrshire and Arran in line with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification to fulfil Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards and meet Facilities Monitoring Tool Targets.
You will be required to undertake departmental job training including the operation of equipment and safe use of cleaning materials which allows flexibility within all areas of Domestic Services.For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job description.Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.
