Job summary Location: Reaside Hours: 30 hours Salary: £ Role Purpose: The successful candidate will work within the Hotel Services Department to provide high-quality Domestic services.
Responsible for cleaning to the NHS Cleaning Standards, adhering to HACCP, COSHH regulations and Infection Prevention and Control.
Main duties of the job Job Purpose To provide a high quality domestic service throughout the designated area/service, maintaining a clean and safe environment that assists in ensuring a positive service user experience and reflects the values of the organisation.
Job Summary Responsible for providing high standards of cleanliness to a designated area/service under the supervision of the domestic supervisor, including the safe use of mechanical and electrical equipment following appropriate training.
About us At SSL, we work in partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT), to deliver facilities management, transport and other support services to over 50 sites across the West Midlands.

Administration: Responsible for completing daily and weekly signoff tasks on cleaning schedules.
To keep all learning and training up to date and to attend any statutory training.
To report any maintenance issues with equipment or environment to supervisor.
People Management: Responsible for maintaining and conducting oneself in a professional manner.
To assist new starters with the buddying system in showing them safe and correct working practices.
Responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with all relevant departmental/trust statutory policies and procedures.
Training: Complete all e-learning prior to appointment of job role.
Attend 3-day corporate induction upon commencement with company.
Buddy up with current staff member for 2 weeks to learn job role.
Person Specification Training Essential General Education to GCSE level or Equivalent.
BICSc Certificate NVQ 1 & 2 Support Services Level 2 Food Hygiene Others Essential Ability to Travel/Work between Sites as required.
Understanding and empathy towards those with a mental health problem Knowledge Essential Has worked in a customer service environment Experience of working as part of a team Full Driving Licence Basic Food Preparation & Service Skills and personal Qualities Essential Understanding of the importance/relevance of good basic hygiene.
Able to work flexibly in all areas of the Department.
Able to work a flexible shift pattern, which may include unsocial hours, weekends and Bank Holidays.
Good Numeracy and Literacy skills.
