More detail about the role As a Divisional Management Accountant, you will be part of a team working under the Finance Directorate, supporting other Divisions in various accounting and financial tasks.
Your key responsibilities will include: - Updating the General Ledger to ensure accurate reporting.
- Producing monthly financial reports, analysing and investigating variances.
- Prepare expense, income and activity budgets as part of the annual planning cycle.
- Use in depth specialist financial knowledge to respond appropriately to budget holders queries.
Your role will involve attending relevant budget meetings with budget holders and stakeholders within the Corporate Division.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, and be adept at handling multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

You will be based at either Newcourt House in Exeter or Devonshire House in Barnstaple (whichever you prefer) but may be required to travel between sites as needed.
