Job summary Therole is designed to support the Admin and Dispensary.
Training will be offered as required.Dispensingacute prescriptions when the GP has authorised.
Dispensingprivate prescriptions and collecting chargesEnsuringthat all prescriptions are signed in a timely way by the GPs and ensuring thatno item is dispensed without a signed prescription.
Preparingitems to be dispensed and dispensing items from stock.Collectcharges when appropriate and process payment following practice OperatingProcedures.
Check exemptions and ensure documentation is correct.Check,sort and count prescriptions for NHS prescription Services for processing bythe Senior Dispenser.EnsureReception and clerical duties within the Practice are carried out within thepractices Standard Operating Procedures.EnsurePractice records and patients records are kept up to dateAssistthe Admin Team with all clerical and administrative dutiesMake appointments, bookings,referrals and admissions as requiredEstablish and maintain filing andadministrative systems so that written or computer information is easilyaccessible and secureRetrieve medical records andassist the completion of medical/insurance records.File patient records andcorrespondence in patient medical recordsMaintain the computer clinicsystem in an accurate and secure mannerAssist with the gathering ofstatistics and information when required Main duties of the job Assistwith the following Dispensary and Reception tasks:Dispensingacute prescriptions when the GP has authorised.

ThePractice offers dispensary services to our Practice population in addition weprovide minor surgery services to patients registered in neighbouringpractice.
TheIngham Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated HCA to joinour professional and friendly team.
Ourclinical team provides a wide range of primary care activities performed underthe GMS contract and the local enhanced service together with Minor Surgery servicecarried out under Any Qualified Provider.ThePractice is a member of the IMP Federation and IMP PCN and we provide ImprovedAccess Services to all patients who are registered within the Federation.
