Dispensing Assistant (Pharmacy) Leighton Buzzard Onsite Up to £25k DOE Are you a detail-oriented and patient-focused professional with a background in pharmacy dispensing?
We are recruiting for a Dispensing Assistant to join our client, a leader in pharmacy distribution.
Key responsibilities: Labelling and dispensing homecare prescriptions for final accuracy checks.
Maintaining accurate patient medication records.
Supporting the dispensarys smooth operation.
Ensuring compliance with stock management, fridge temperature monitoring, and general dispensary standards.
This is a full-time position with flexibility required to meet service needs, which may include urgent medical requirements.
Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Dispensary Assistant or similar role.
Attention to detail and the ability to accurately perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, and self-audit.
A clear patient focus and willingness to take responsibility for actions.
Knowledge of therapies related to homecare prescriptions is an advantage.
Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services Skills (Dispensing) , if not the client can enrol you on the course.
