Disassembly Technician

The key responsibilities and duties of the Disassembly Technician include, but are not limited to:Disassemble customer landing gears I.A.W the manufacturer instructions (CMM)Avoid additional damage and work with team to communicate required improvements to tooling and processesWork to tight deadlinesControl of personal and company toolsAwareness and understanding of LTLGS computer based MOE (IQMove)Uphold housekeeping standardsReport to Leading Hand / Team Leader if damage occurs so that improvements can be investigatedEmbrace an open reporting cultureParticipate and contribute to team dialog meetingsCarry out missing and damaged inspections The ideal Disassembly Technician should meet the following requirements:Equivalent to GCSE A-C gradesQualification in an engineering subject would be desirableIt would be advantageous but not essential that the applicant would have served an apprenticeship within a mechanical assembly / disassembly environmentIllustrate previous knowledge and experience of use of hand toolsGood knowledge, awareness and understanding of PPEPrevious use of overhead cranes and forklifts would be preferableIt would be preferable but not essential for the applicant to have worked in an aerospace environmentMust be willing to work shifts Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the UK.
