The school are looking for a bubbly and vibrant Disability Teaching Assistant , with a passion for special educational needs.
Any previous experience working with children and/or adults with disabilities would be great, but personality is the most important factor.
As a Disability Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with teachers to provide personalised support for students with diverse needs.
Your role will involve delivering one-on-one or small group interventions, ensuring that each student feels engaged and supported in the classroom.
Responsibilities as a Disability Teaching Assistant: Offer tailored support to students with disabilities to enhance their learning experiences.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them grow.
Support students during break times and extracurricular activities to promote inclusion.
Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements for the Disability Teaching Assistant role: Previous experience as a Disability Teaching Assistant is desirable.
Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
Understanding of special education needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
