About the Role: As a Disability Support Worker , you will provide essential care and support to students with disabilities, helping them navigate their educational journey and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities: Offer one-on-one or group support tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.
Assist in the development and implementation of personalised education plans.
Create an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes student independence and confidence.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Monitor and document progress, sharing updates with the wider team.
What We're Looking For: Experience in a similar role or a strong desire to work with individuals with disabilities.
A caring and patient attitude, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of students.
To Work with GSL Education as a Disability Support Worker, You Must: Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
Have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
