About the Role As a Director of UX, you will lead a team to create exceptional user experiences. You'll drive innovation and ensure seamless interaction between users and digital products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business objectives is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities Leading and mentoring, you will grow our UX Research and Design function, fostering an environment conducive to creativity and innovation.Championing and leading user-centred research activities and aligning them with our business objectives and technological capabilities.Conducting comprehensive user research, executing usability tests, and synthesising data to inform insightful, evidence-based design decisions.Collaborating closely with stakeholders and the product development team to oversee the translation of UX designs into functional user interfaces.Driving understanding of the use cases and needs relating to the organisation's current products and future capabilities.Understanding products and strategy, and how they influence customer decisions. Requirements Experience of defining the long-term vision and strategy for user experience research, aligning it with business objectives and goals. Establish design principles, guidelines, and best practices to guide the development of user-centered products and services.Experience in leading and managing a team of UX professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Ensure the team's collaboration, growth, and adherence to design processes and methodologies.Ability to oversee user research activities to gain a deep understanding of user needs, behaviours, and motivations. Utilize research findings to inform design decisions and validate design solutions.Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and a shared understanding of user experience goals.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of UX trends and innovation.
