Director of Sales Development - Wakefield, Manchester Based
We are searching for a Director of Sales Development for a leading provider of IT and communication services to develop their sales strategy.
To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of being a high-achieving sales leader with exceptional hands-on sales ability and management skills.
With extensive experience in the Telecommunications and Software Sales industries.
You will work collaboratively with the marketing department to build pipeline with high-quality inbound prospects, develop effective outbound prospecting campaigns, supervise recruitment, and generate monthly sales reports for executive review.

Your responsibilities
Lead all sales development activities Strategically fill the pipeline with qualified leads Set sales qualified lead (SQL) quotas for teams Conduct performance evaluations using sales development metrics Collaborate with sales development managers to exceed targets Maximize new business development opportunities Supervise the hiring and team building efforts of SDMs Iterate sales techniques for improvements We'd love to hear from you if you possess the below;
Skills and Experience
Over 5 years experience of managing teams The ability to hire and manage top talents and lead a top performing team Experienced using CRMs - understanding tools, tactics, and processes for maintaining customer data for sales.
You must be a critical thinker who can provide solutions to overcome challenges Effective use of analytics to find and qualify leads.
A director of sales creates strategies and targets with data-driven insights and metrics A bachelor's or higher degree holder in sales, marketing, business, or a similar discipline.
Capable of working independently and developing indigenous solutions.
Motivated, driven, and goal-oriented.
