Director Of Quality

Walker Cole International has been retained to search for a Director of Quality to join a Pharmaceutical client that are manufacturing Biopharmaceutical and Sterile dosage forms.
As the Director of Quality, you will oversee and lead a large quality function (Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Validation) and play an active role on the site leadership team.
The role is based in the North of the United Kingdom and is offered with a hybrid working pattern.
Your responsibilities as the Director of Quality will be: - Lead and manage all quality activities for a GMP manufacturing facility.
- Manage, develop and coach a team of Quality Assurance Managers and Qualified Person's (QP's) - Play a figure head role in managing regulatory agency inspections from MHRA, FDA and EMA - Develop cross functional team building initiatives with manufacturing and Quality Control (QC) for long-term cultural benefits.
- A key member of the site leadership team The success candidate for the Director of Quality position will demonstrate the following: - Extensive pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience - Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing site leadership experience within a UK based site - Strong evidence of managing 1st and / or 2nd line quality managers - Knowledge and understanding of Sterile/Aseptic or Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing processes.
