This role provides financial oversight, compliance, and staff leadership while delivering strategic insights to the Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and stakeholders.Key Responsibilties: Lead the financial strategy, compliance and sustainabilityOversee financial procedures, systems, and corporate services, including finance, risk management, legal, and governanceLiaise with external and internal auditors and manage annual auditsEnsure efficient financial administration of non-curricular activities, trips, lettings, and third-party incomeLead on the maintenance of risk registers and advise on financial risk managementSecure and manage government fundingOversee payroll preparation (with the Payroll Officer) and compliance with pensions and Inland Revenue regulationsSupport the HR Manager with financial administration of staff appointments, leavers, and other HR-related financial tasks The successful candidate: Relevant experience within the education sectorStrong management skills Ideally a fully qualified accountantAble to commute into the office 5 days a week Director of Finance and Operations - £70,000 to £80,000 per year - Permanent - Full Time Office Based - Rickmansworth
