Director of Finance and Operations - £70,000 to £80,000 per year - Permanent - Full Time Office Based - Rickmansworth FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering with an exciting client within the education sector to support with their recruitment of a Director of Finance and Operations on a permanent basis.
This role provides financial oversight, compliance, and staff leadership while delivering strategic insights to the Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilties: Lead the financial strategy, compliance and sustainability Oversee financial procedures, systems, and corporate services, including finance, risk management, legal, and governance Liaise with external and internal auditors and manage annual audits Ensure efficient financial administration of non-curricular activities, trips, lettings, and third-party income Lead on the maintenance of risk registers and advise on financial risk management Secure and manage government funding Oversee payroll preparation (with the Payroll Officer) and compliance with pensions and Inland Revenue regulations Support the HR Manager with financial administration of staff appointments, leavers, and other HR-related financial tasks The successful candidate: Relevant experience within the education sector Strong management skills Ideally a fully qualified accountant Able to commute into the office 5 days a week Director of Finance and Operations - £70,000 to £80,000 per year - Permanent - Full Time Office Based - Rickmansworth TPBN1_UKTJ
