Job Description Director of Clinical Services Salary: £55,000 - £59,000 Full-Time, 40 hours Per Week Our client, a dedicated hospital, is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Clinical Services to join their team.

The successful candidate will support the Hospital Director in delivering exceptional standards of care, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and support they need to thrive.
As the Director of Clinical Services, the ideal candidate will be a strong and dedicated leader, committed to maintaining consistently high levels of care within the hospital.
This role requires proactive leadership and excellent clinical skills to guide the team in providing the best possible outcomes for service users.
The Director will play a key role in shaping the clinical environment, driving improvements, and fostering a culture of excellence and compassion from the outset of this new service.
About you Clinical Registration: Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Nurse in Learning Disabilities with a valid NMC PIN Management Experience: Proven management experience in a hospital environment Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to facilitate effective teamwork and problem-solving.
Organisational Ability: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, coupled with the ability to operate effectively in a clinical, academic, and operational environment.
Resilience and Proactivity: Resilient, proactive, and able to maintain personal credibility while driving forward service objectives.
About the Role: Leadership in Care: Lead by example to uphold and promote high standards of clinical care across the hospital.
Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the hospital in collaboration with the Hospital Director.
Staff Development: Promote professional development and clinical training among staff, ensuring comprehensive care and support planning.
Nurse Supervision: Manage and supervise registered nurses, ensuring they maintain high-quality standards of care.
Assurance: Conduct clinical audits and prepare reports to monitor performance and outcomes.
Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with families and caregivers, fostering a supportive environment.
Staff Oversight: Supervise staff, conducting appraisals and facilitating ongoing training and development.
