Business Development Director About Us: Alliance Clinical Services are the UK's fastest-growing provider of insourcing healthcare solutions.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Business Development Director to take full ownership of our sales strategy, drive substantial growth, and build out a high-performing business development team to support our expansion.

About the role: As the Business Development Director , you will be fully responsible for the entire sales cycle , from identifying new business opportunities and cultivating key relationships to leading the negotiation and closing of high-value contracts.
You will play a central role in positioning the company as a leader in the insourcing healthcare sector, while also building, leading, and scaling your own sales team to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities: Ownership of Sales Strategy: Lead and own the entire sales process for the business, from identifying target markets and prospecting new clients to pitching, negotiating, and closing contracts.
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales.

Full Sales Cycle Management: Take full responsibility for managing and executing the end-to-end sales process including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and post-sale client engagement.

Building & Leading a High-Performing Team: Establish and grow a business development team that will help scale the business.

Relationship Building & Account Management: Cultivate long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
Oversee and ensure a smooth transition from sales to operational delivery.

Revenue Growth & Performance Metrics: Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Report on sales progress, market feedback, and team performance to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure integration of business development initiatives and alignment with client expectations.

Sales Training & Development: Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to foster skills, motivate your team, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications & Skills Proven experience owning the entire sales cycle , from lead generation to closing deals.
Demonstrated success in building and managing sales teams , with a track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
Strong experience in insourcing, or staffing solutions (knowledge of NHS systems is a plus).
Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to sales and business development.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team-building, coaching, and mentorship.
Deep understanding of the healthcare sector, including NHS procurement processes.
Entrepreneurial spirit, highly self-motivated, and results-oriented.
